'Most Dope' Rough Cuts: Mac Miller's Neighbors Nag About The Noise [Video]

Squeezing countless hours of Mac Miller footage into only six "Most Dope Family" episodes was a daunting task for MTV2, and as you'd expect, a lot of great moments didn't make the final cut. But don't worry -- they're not going to waste! While you await the series' return, check in with Remote Control each week for never-before-seen video of the rapper and his pals.

Mac Miller's L.A. mansion may be massive, but it ain't soundproof. In this week's "Most Dope" Rough Cut, Mac wakes one morning to a note from his neighbors who are not too fond of the noise that came from Mac's studio the night before (do they know who they're living next to?), so he shares the complaint with his boys.

When Mac begins to read Michael and Susan's letter in the clip, the grievances start out with a caveat that they, too, are recording artists who empathize with Mac's work ethic. However, since their highly renowned band Sirens of Soho is currently on hiatus, they're not much in the noise-making business these days. "We don't want to be those neighbors who complain and make problems," they stress. Er, too late.

The couple then suggests they try a sound check during which Mac tests the volume for appropriate levels, and they then respond with what works via text. "I'll be fine just ignoring this,'" Mac tells Quentin. Perhaps moving away entirely would be a better option for these folks.
