'True Life' Check-In: Frank And Ashley's Baby Has Brought Their Family Together

This weekend's "True Life" explored the stories of two young women who couldn't get their families to accept their boyfriends. We had an opportunity to check in with them to find out how their lives have changed since filming wrapped -- take a look at the follow-up Q&As below.

How are you feeling as your due date approaches?

As my due date approaches I feel excited. I can't wait to meet our little girl. Frank has grown up so much and has been very helpful. I know he will be a great dad. I get so nervous -- I want to be just as good of a mom as my mom is to me. The baby kicks more and more every day. It just makes us all want her here more!

Is your family still getting along with Frank? Have you been spending time together?

My family's focus is the baby. They get along with Frank, and at the baby shower they were all talking and getting along. I'm very happy they all found a happy medium before Lilly arrives.

What was it like sharing your story with us?

It was a great experience to share my story with all of you. I wanted to show people that you shouldn't give up on people you love because it's tough. You have to follow your heart even if it makes other people mad. I'm glad I got to meet everyone I did. They all were so sweet!

Are you and CJ still broken up? If so, have you been in contact or have you cut off all ties?

CJ and I are broken up, and we have not been talking because I'm currently dating somebody else.

How has your relationship with your mom changed since you broke up with CJ?

My mom and I have been getting along a lot better since CJ and I broke up. She has not met my new boyfriend.

What was it like sharing your story with us?

I think it was an interesting experience sharing my story. I hope I somehow helped or influenced younger girls who are dating older guys. I definitely learned a lot from sharing my story.
