Much of “The Challenge“’s entertainment value is the drama that erupts off the field, but “Rivals II” includes some incredible competitors whose moves keep us on the edge of our seats, too. Each week, we’re pointing out the highs and lows of every mission, so you can watch every triumph, and every COMPLETE AND UTTER FAILURE, on a loop forever and ever. You win some, you lose some…
Aneesa and Trishelle ensured the drama was nothing short of explosive this week on “Rivals II,” but neither vet could eclipse the intensity of the actual competition. In Episode 3, the game’s front-runners were solidly cemented, those who’ve been floundering continued to fall flat and a team with previous success in The Jungle unfortunately bit the dust. Check out a much-deserved win, and a not-so-surprising loss!
Three missions, three victories: Paula and Emily, man! The fearsome female team validated every bit of hype they’ve received by keeping their unbeaten streak alive, and “Mind Over Splatter” was just another example of how this power duo can make really unpleasant tasks look like cakewalks. Emily tweeted that she still has scars from the rope burns? You’d have never known she was in pain.
Knight has continually made Preston the scapegoat for his team’s shortcomings, but it was he who fell from the ropes and earned his team a one-way ticket to The Jungle. Ultimately, he and Presto made it out of the elimination round alive, but the epic fail featured above is still worthy of a few hearty guffaws. Laugh away!
