As if entrusting their lives to open-air dune buggies isn't cause for alarm, what unfolds during Nev and Max's latest "Catfish" adventure could be a sign that the apocalypse is just around the corner. In between filming last night's episode in Arizona, the two love detectives set out to explore the desert with Ramon and his friends Ernesto and Omar, but in the bonus scene below, the scenic drive quickly turns into a new-age locust swarm when a flurry of grasshoppers takes over.
After being instructed to "just floor it" and "[not] crash," Nev and Max take off with the locals in a scene straight out of "Fast & Furious." But amid the sand clouds and tumbleweeds, the guys start to notice great big insects emerging en masse, and it all comes to a head -- literally -- when they stop the engine. "One hit me in the face," Nev says. Season 2 of "Catfish" is shaping up to be one hell of a ride, folks!
