See How MTV's Finest Celebrated Independence Day [Photos]
This 4th of July, many of our favorite MTV casties took their hats off to the U. S. of A, rocking patriotic colors, barbecuing up a storm and busting out the Frisbee with their friends and fams at the beach. And then there were those who went a less traditional route, like Vinny Guadagnino, who hung out with a penguin. Yep.
This morning, as soon as we recovered from our hot dog-induced hangovers, we scoured the web to see how our stars spent the holiday, and this is what we found:

Snooki's son, Lorenzo, has been a busy little bee lately, learning how to crawl (on the beach!), practicing yoga and, yesterday, knocking out the Pledge of Allegiance! Luckily, Snooks caught the whole thing on Instagram, and we have to say, Norman Rockwell couldn't have asked for a more perfect moment. 'Enzo's pa, Chef BoyarJionni, did his part by cooking up a feast: "Just like my moms!! #crabgravy #icook #proud," he tweeted along with the mouth-watering pic below. Got any leftovers, J?

Not to be outdone by his former co-star, Vinny Guadagnino almost rivaled Baby Lorenzo's cuteness with his own first yesterday, ringing in the 4th by cuddling a pudgy little...penguin? "That one time I held a penguin .#jenkinsons #penguinlife #happyfeet#keepcalmandholdapenguin," Vin posted. You just KNOW this pic caused a DTF outbreak across the Internet.
Can we petition for this penguin to appear on "The Show with Vinny"?
"The Situation," who shares a birthday with America's independence, certainly had a lot to celebrate. "Fourth of July w family friends n my college Sweetheart !" he captioned the photo below. The stunning lady in red looks mighty cozy next to Mike, which got us thinking: Is he finally ready to settle down? You don't just invite anyone to your birth-slash-Independence Day BBQ. And after sowing his wild oats at the "Shore" for all those years, could this become a romantic reunion?
