Lil Duval Befriends A Dummy On The 'Ain't That America' Set [Video]

Lil Duval poses for a pic next to his 18th century self.

With all the countless hours of blood, sweat and tears that go into filming a new TV series, the cast and crew mates are bound to bond with each other, and from top dog to the guy who holds the boom mic, a close family is eventually created. However, during a recent shoot for Lil Duval's "Ain't That America," the comedian side-stepped his "Guy Codebuds and chose to forge a deep on-set connection with an unlikely companion.

"I appreciate you listening to me, man," Duval says earnestly to a new friend in the behind-the-scenes clip below. "If it wasn't for you, I don't know where I'd be," he adds, right before the camera pans out to reveal Duval's bestie is...a dummy. No, not Miss Utah -- an actual mannequin! Though it may seem a tad on the cray side, there are a few good reasons why a plastic doll makes a perfect pal for the chatty host: It'll always be there to listen and, more importantly, it'll never leave your side...because it literally can't. Sorry, Charlamagne Tha God, you've just been ousted as Lil D's right-hand man.

Check out the video, and don't miss the premiere of "Ain't That America" July 9 at 11:30/10:30c on MTV2!
