'Wild 'N Out' Throwback Thursday: Kelly Rowland [Photo]

After a far-too-long hiatus, Nick Cannon's "Wild 'N Out" returns July 9 to MTV2! As we await the highly anticipated sketch show comeback, each Throwback Thursday we'll be getting nostalgic about some of the most memorable moments and cast members from the series' first four seasons. We can't think of a better way to utilize the #TBT hashtag!

#TBT: Nick Cannon and Kelly Rowland battle it out during Season 2 of "Wild "N Out."

Bittersweet, she was up, I was down/No lie, I feel good for her, but what do I do now? These are just some of the revealing lyrics from Kelly Rowland's latest single, "Dirty Laundry," in which she airs out her long bottled-up feelings on the Destiny's Child split. Since the track's release, the Internet's been buzzing with opinions about Kel's former rivalry with Beyoncé. However, we would've never guessed of the singer's struggles when a confident Kelly took the "Wild 'N Out" stage back in 2006.

On Season 2, Kelly stood front and center, ready to throw down the comedic punchlines as team captain, proving she had the makings of a solo star even then. She surely wasn't playing second fiddle to anyone on that stage. And years later, Ms. Rowland is still a powerhouse in her own right, with several hit singles of her own and a new gig as judge on "X Factor" starting this fall. Looks like the days of being overshadowed by Sasha Fierce are long gone.

Ms. Kelly Rowland has arrived!
