A brand-new season of "Nitro Circus Live" kicks off tonight at 11/10c on MTV2, and some of the pros are considering it a chance to right their wrongs from past competitions. "Nitro" girl Jolene already showed she's revved up to redeem her backflip blunder, and in this sneak peek, BMX pro Jaie Toohey is taking another stab at the stunt that left him with an injury almost worse than Kevin Ware's shattered leg.
"The athletes on this tour are taking massive risks night after night," producer Jeremy Rawle says in the clip below, and judging by the tumbles in this here teaser, he is NOT joking. "It's inevitable that it's going to catch up to them." Such was the case for Toohey, who took one of the gnarliest spills to date during their 2012 stay in Australia. "[It] was one of the worst I've ever seen," Rawle recalls. Uh, yeah -- his leg bone snapped like a hippo walking over a twig!
Check out the video, and make sure to tune in tonight at 11/10c for the "Nitro Circus Live" premiere!
