For the longest time, Chelsea’s main goal was to attend beauty school, and eventually, begin a career as a professional hair stylist. She spent almost all of Season 3 working to obtain her GED, specifically so she could attend Black Hills Beauty College’s one-year program. But more landlord trouble, A-D-A-M issues and the general stress of being a single parent had her rethinking full-time school on tonight’s “Teen Mom 2.”
In less than a year, Chelsea’s been asked to leave two apartments. It’s been through no fault of her own — the landlords made other plans for the places after Chelsea moved in — but what’s an afterthought for the landlord is a complete nightmare for the tenant. In an attempt to lighten her load, Chels decided to take a leave of absence from school to focus on apartment-hunting, and though she claims she’ll head back after she’s all settled, her friends and family are worried she’ll follow in Frenchie’s “Beauty School Dropout” footsteps.
We can only imagine how stressful being a full-time parent, student and apartment hunter can be, but there’s got to be a better way than giving up her education to make lemonade out of these lemons. Right?
+ What do you think? Was Chelsea smart to push school aside in light of her landlord kicking her out? Or should she have figured out a way to keep it all together? Take our poll!
