'Awkward' Season 3 Will Premiere On April 16, Followed By New Comedy Series 'Girl Code'

Get out your party horns, people, because it's almost time to celebrate: "Awkward" is only ONE MONTH away! That's right, the long wait for JennaMatty and the rest of the Palos Hills High School crew will end on April 16 with two back-to-back premiere episodes, starting at 10/9c! We'll soon learn that things don't always get easier when you become an upperclassman, and in the trailer for Season 3 below, Jenna will find that the Matty flame she fought so hard to reignite might have been better off staying extinguished.

In the vid, Tamara is elated that she and her BFF are both starting the school year in love, but she quickly becomes wary of Jenna's ever-present connection to Jake. "I don't know if you got the memo, but Jakenna is dead and Jakara is in business," she warns her friend. Uh oh, we smell a love rectangle. Luckily, starting on April 23, we'll have a way to decode all the awkwardness with MTV's brand new comedy series, "Girl Code" -- the ladies' answer to the hilarious MTV2 show, "Guy Code."

+ Check out the "Awkward" trailer, and hang tight for the two-episode premiere on Tuesday April 16 at 10/9c! Then, starting on April 23, catch "Girl Code" every week, after "Awkward" at 10:30/9:30c!
