'True Life' Check-In: Have Bobby's And Isaiah's Girlfriends Become More Understanding?

Tonight's "True Life" explored the stories of two young men who were being taken advantage by their increasingly high maintenance girlfriends. We had an opportunity to check in with them and find out how their lives have changed since filming wrapped. Take a look at the follow-up Q&As below.

How is your relationship with Miranda?

Our relationship is actually better than it was when we first started filming. It's like a switch went off and she understood where I was coming from. I can say we are now more civil toward one another, and communicate a lot better. She is behind my business and I'm supportive of her modeling. Communication is key, and if there isn't any, there's no way to know what's going on. Even though she still has to work on helping out more around the house, I feel like the more she matures, the more she'll understand it's only up to us to live a good healthy life.

Has she had any modeling jobs recently?

Yes, she's had shoots since we filmed. I'm still not the happiest person with her shooting with average photographers. Most of these photographers just want to shoot her because of what she's done in the past. She's only helping them, and she doesn't understand that. I try to help manage her and point her in the right direction, so she doesn't make the wrong decision with the wrong photographer.

What was it like sharing your story with us?

It was an eye opener for both myself and Miranda. It made the situation that I was in a lot clearer for her to understand, and to see where I was coming from. By sharing my story it helped us grow as individuals and as a couple. It taught us to see eye to eye. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to point out the problem with not only her, but other people, so if someone else is in my situation, it might help them as well.

How are the wedding plans going? Has the process brought out Erika's demanding side, or has she been able to keep her complaining to a minimum?

Well, I guess that depends on who you ask. For Erika, the wedding plans are going just great. For me, on the other hand...they're stressful. But I guess that's how it is for every man who's about to get married. I can tell she's trying to keep her complaining to a minimum, but her demands are getting progressively worse.

What was it like sharing your story with us?

Sharing my story with you guys was amazing. I loved being in front of the camera, as you all could probably tell. I hope that wasn't the last time I get to be filmed!
