It's Official: 'Girl Meets World' Found Its Girl!

The "Girl Meets World" family unit!

Congrats, Cory and Topanga -- you are officially TV parents! After months of auditions, the lucky young lady who landed the role of Riley Matthews is (drum roll)...Rowan Blanchard! Entertainment Weekly confirmed last night that the 11-year-old dimpled darling will star alongside the all-star '90s cast.

Danielle Fishel said the spin-off will start shooting in February, and by the looks of it, they are right on schedule! The iconic couple has been chronicling the series' quest on Twitter, and the two were happy to share the great news last night. "I have a beautiful, new daughter. Welcome to the family @rowblanchard! #GirlMeetsWorld," Ben tweeted of the former "Spy Kids: All the Time in World in 4D" star. Her onscreen mom joined in the excitement, saying, "Congratulations beautiful girl! Can't wait!" Pilot producer Michael Jacobs says Rowan's take on the role will make us reminisce. "As soon as Rowan walked into the room, I was reminded of why Ben Savage was loved as Cory Matthews," he told EW. We bet it was the way she says "UNDAPANTS!"

Make sure to catch "Boy Meets World" every day on "Old School Afternoons" on MTV2!
