'Nitro Circus' Star Travis Pastrana Hops Aboard WWII Plane [Video]

The NASCAR newbie at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in 2012.

It's a bird, it's a plane...no, wait--it's Travis Pastrana in a plane! The "Nitro Circus Live" star recently hit the skies to prove his daredevil chops to his new boss, Roush Fenway Racing founder Jack Roush. As if multiple seasons of entertaining live crowds with motocross stunts weren't enough to do the trick, Roush pushed Pastrana to the limit on a sick World War II jet. Is this some kind of NASCAR initiation? It sure beats drinking beer out of a sweaty helmet!

Before boarding the P-51 Mustang in the video below, Roush tests Travis' adventurous spirit by teasing him over the lack of gas left in the plane. However, Travis guarantees there's not much that can make him tremble, saying, "I'm not bad with being scared...you have to do something really dumb, but I have a feeling that Jack could probably do that."

Tag along for the ride by watching the clip, and don't forget to check Travis out on "Nitro Circus Live" tonight at 7/6c on MTV2!
