The "Jersey Shore" house weathered the storm, but the cast's place of employment for four straight summers wasn't so lucky. In this sneak peek of tonight's "Restore the Shore" fundraising special, Shore Store owner Danny shows Pauly D and Vinny around the ravaged shop. Home to many fun times and silly pranks, the place is now wrecked--the roof is separated from the building and the merchandise is soaked in water--and as a viewer, the reality of the situation in Seaside Heights leaves a pit in your stomach. This is no simple fix.
Upon inspection, Pauly admits that he wasn't expecting to see so much damage. "There's actually benches from the boardwalk inside this place," he says. "Everything's destroyed."
The clip below hits the message home that all of our help is needed to rebuild. Please tune in for the LIVE "Restore the Shore" telethon tonight at 11/10c on-air, online or on your mobile phone, which will feature performances by Gym Class Heroes and Phillip Phillips, as well as appearances by your favorite celebrities, including the cast of "Jersey Shore." In the meantime, you can purchase a "Restore the Shore" t-shirt, the proceeds of which go directly to Architecture For Humanity, a non-profit that provides design and construction services to communities in need. You can also text SHORE to 85944 to make an immediate $10 donation.
