We're halfway into the second season of "Teen Wolf," still clueless as to who will make it out alive, but we can confirm one very exciting thing: The series will be back for a third season! MTV made the announcement yesterday at one of San Diego Comic Con's panels (check out MTV Geek for the latest coverage), and those present couldn't have been more pumped (and relieved).
The show will also return bigger and better than ever, with 24 episodes (that's twice as many as Seasons 1 and 2, if you've been keeping track) worth of mysterious creatures, star-crossed lovers and, well, dismemberment. Have you stopped screaming yet?
"Teen Wolf" has become the No. 1 program in its time slot for 12- to 34-year-olds--with just about two million of you tuning in each week. That's an especially impressive feat for MTV as no scripted show in the network's history has EVER seen a third season, or as many episodes. Kinda makes you wanna howl at the moon, no?
The cast took some time out from Comic Con to react to the good news and thank fans for being so loyal. Check out the videos below, which also include Geek's exclusive post-panel interview with the gang.
