Pauly D strikes his most somber-looking pose at PACHA nightclub in Manhattan.
Pauly D was all over the place last night. The "Jersey Shore" standout took to the streets of NYC aboard a zombie-themed float during the city’s annual Halloween Parade, and later in the evening, made his way to scenester haven Pacha for a spooktacular DJ gig. (Whoever tsk-tsked combining work and pleasure should shadow Pauly and see what they're missing.) All his whirlwind night lacked was a slutty she-devil (or slutty schoolteacher, or slutty nurse, or slutty policewoman...) by his side.
Just one small observation. While we were psyched to see Pauly get into the Halloween spirit, he's way too cute for a holiday that encourages scaring the bejeezus out of passersby. Despite sporting a face mask that was half-skull/half-eyebrow wax gone horribly wrong, the Blowout King wasn't fooling anyone. He's way too happy! You can practically hear him yelling "YEAHH BUDDY!" from behind the facade, an ear-to-ear smile bursting to get out.
But who can blame him? Pauly does have a cha-ching-a-chillion things to beam about. Not only is his new spin-off--in which cameras follow his life "outside of the 'Shore'"--coming out soon, but he was recently noticed (and mocked) by MTV's most infamous cartoon characters. "When I saw myself on 'Beavis and Butt-Head,' I had to stop for a second," he told the New York Post before his set. "I watched 'Beavis and Butt-Head' my whole entire life, now to look back that they even know who I am and they're making fun of me, that was the best day of my life."
Guess it just goes to show, nonscary guys sometimes do finish first.
