When "Beavis and Butt-Head" last aired in 1997, Bill Clinton was president, Diddy was still known as Puff Daddy and Napster didn't even exist yet. Obviously times have changed, and the two sarcastic teens have a lot to take on--and take down--in regards to post-millennial life. We've already seen Beavis and Butt-Head's analysis of "Jersey Shore," so here are five other topics we can't wait for them to snark about in their triumphant return to MTV.
Music Videos: Beavis and Butt-Head are infamous for cracking jokes about music videos, so can you imagine what they'll have to say about Lady Gaga's monster claw, Katy Perry's whipped-cream bra or Nicki Minaj's...everything? If they don't like a video, they've been known to fart on the TV, so consider yourself warned.
Celebrities: When the metal-loving buddies went off the air, Justin Bieber was only 3 years old; now he's one of the biggest stars on the planet. Perhaps the duo will surprise us all and get the infamous Bieber haircut? OK, probably not, but we can't wait to see if they become Beliebers...oh, and what they thought of Kim Kardashian's "fairy-tale wedding"!
The Internet: Since the boys love watching TV, they'll surely get a kick out of YouTube videos (like the kind featured on "Ridiculousness"). We're less certain about what they'll think of other webby innovations like Twitter and online dating, but since they're sex-obsessed, we bet they'll create profiles to meet women. After all, they already have a Facebook page!
Tech Gadgets: Smartphones like iPhones and Google Androids are also new to Beavis and Butt-Head. The only thing they might like about these devices is that they can record videos of their outdoor hobbies (like lighting fires and pranking neighbors) and then upload them online.
Movie Reviews: Yep, Beavis and Butt-Head intend to be like Siskel and Ebert, providing their thumbs-up or -down about the latest movie releases in every new episode (although they might use a different finger). Wonder if they've seen "The Last Airbender" yet.
