Soundtrack Spotlight: Secondhand Serenade's Tunes Hit Home On 'Teen Mom 2'

If last night's episode of "Teen Mom 2'' left you feeling down, then you weren't alone. Jenelle got kicked out of her mother's home, Kailyn and Jo were also forced to crash elsewhere and Chelsea got caught in an awful position with her father after Adam moved in. Turmoil and uneasiness surrounded each young mom's story, which is why the melancholic sounds of Secondhand Serenade suited the show so perfectly.

If you're not familiar with singer/songwriter John Vesely's solo project Secondhand Serenade, here's what you need to know: The San Francisco-born musician mastered bass before picking up the electric guitar and working on his debut solo album, Awake, in 2005. Now on his third project, Hear Me Now (which debuted at #42 on Billboard Top 200), Vesely's received lots of recognition (his song "Fall For You" nearly went double platinum) and shows such as "Dancing with the Stars," "American Idol" and "The Hills" have licensed his music.

The track featured on MTV last night, "Something More," is an acoustic number that explores the vulnerable nature of being conflicted--something all the "Teen Mom 2" girls can relate to. Take a look at his music video to get the gist:
