Tonight's "True Life" recapped some of the most memorable stories from past seasons, and after getting refamiliarized with Unique's, Frank's and Debra's lives, it was great to learn about their progress and courage. We recently had the opportunity to check in with them--take a look at the follow-up Q&As below:
What are you up to now? Has anything changed since we saw you last?
We moved into a different house that we can somewhat afford and that's relieved a lot of stress. I'm about to give birth to my second child (my first child with Stephen) and Dominik is so excited to have a brother. We are thrilled about the arrival of our new son and plan on having more children in the future when the time is right.
How are all of your siblings?
Cassie and her two daughters have moved back to Montana and they are doing well. Evie is looking forward to getting her driver's license and is looking for a job. Jayme is enjoying her junior year in high school and is working part-time.
What are you up to now? Are you still running your own artist management company?
I've put my management company on the back burner and decided it was time to have some fun after being cooped up in the house for so long. I went to the Caribbean over the summer and followed around Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour for five stops in the area. I've become somewhat obsessed with her and I'm dying to meet her. Besides that, I've just been hitting up other concerts and I enrolled in Pace University in Manhattan for graduate school.
Have you continued to manage your anxiety? Are you still able to come and go from Staten Island with ease?
My anxiety is 100 percent under control--no more panic attacks! I'm barely on Staten Island anymore. Everything I do is in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Jersey or somewhere else. If anybody needs to talk about anxiety or panic attacks they can find me on Twitter or Facebook. I'd be happy to help as much as I can.
Have you remained in touch with Jonathan Knight?
Unfortunately, I haven't spoken with Jonathan Knight too much. I'm sure he's very busy with the joint venture of the New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys. Jon is one the nicest guys I've met and I appreciate all he's done to help me out.
What are you up to now?
I am now living in Columbus, Georgia, finishing up my bachelor's degree at Troy University.
How is your mother doing? Has she remained sober since filming the show?
My mother is doing awesome. She just had a birthday and wishes she could see us again. She's remained sober since the show.
Have you and your daughter kept in touch with your mother?
My daughter and I keep in constant contact with my mother. We call her as often as possible. Her friend recently connected me to their video Skype account so that we could see each other. She was so amazed at the technology!
