Starmaker's David: 'I Sacrificed A Lot To Be On This Show'

Too Broadway? That's what the judges thought of David Joseph's performance on tonight's Starmaker premiere, but David begged to differ. And he wants viewers to know that you haven't seen the last of him! Check out his message below...

Thanks for checking out P. Diddy’s Starmaker! Unfortunately, my time on the show was cut short, so I wanted to leave you with a few last words…

I would like to thank P. Diddy and the entire Starmaker crew for this opportunity. It was an honor just being selected to be part of the show. My only regrets are that I did not get a chance to truly showcase who I am to the world. I also regret not having the opportunity to spend more time getting to know my fellow contestants. They are all truly talented individuals, and I wish them all the best in the future.

However, did I feel shorted? Of course. I sacrificed a lot to be on the show. Going through all of the auditions and all the waiting, only for it to be over in an instant. I didn’t feel that I deserved to go home or receive such harsh criticism from the judges. I went out and performed the same way I always have, the same way that has gotten me to this point. I couldn’t have done it any other way. But that’s the way it goes sometimes. You get back up and get at it again.

Leaving the show has not stopped me. I will never stop pursuing my dream. I plan on getting back to work in the studio very soon to write and record, do what I love most. And I hope all of you will continue to follow me and my career. I know I will see you again very soon…
