Tila Tequila To Prez Obama: 'Discrimination Is So 2000 And Late!'

For a woman best known for her naughty MySpace pix/getting dumped on her own reality dating show, Tila Tequila's actually got a good (if slightly plastic-y) head on her shoulders. Turns out, when she's not using her noggin to dream up fake pregnancy rumors (um, about herself??!) she's petitioning President Barack Obama on behalf of gays in the military. Even stranger? Girl's actually done her homework.

Citing a recent incident (in which a soldier named Dan Choi was dismissed from the army after disclosing his sexual orientation public) Tila reasonably wonders what sexual preference has to do with Choi's -- or anyone's -- ability to serve and protect.

The brainy(?!) bisexual then goes on to make a cogent argument in favor of legislation reform, makes an impassioned plea for human rights and finishes up by reminding Obama of his campaign promise to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." Here's a sample (courtesy of BuddyTV):

"Unfortunately, "[Choi] isn't the first to be discriminated against, and unless President Obama acts fast, and keeps his campaign promise to repeal the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell Policy' in the military, he will not be the last!" she writes, before finishing up in true TT fashion:

"We are here, we are queer, and its about time that the military gets used to it!!!  Discrimination is so 2000 and Late!"

Hmm, anyone else think Tila should bag that whole blowing-kisses-on-the-red-carpet thing and consider a career as a political pundit!?
