Jennifer Lawrence's 'Mockingjay' Premiere Gown Looks Simple — Until You See It From The Side

Another premiere for "Mockingjay Part 2," another event for Jennifer Lawrence to make a grand fashion statement. At the London premiere, Jennifer showed up wearing a long, printed gown with slits on both side of her torso, only being held together by a few gold chains.

It was stunning enough for us to want to take a closer look, so let's break it down.

From this angle, the Dior gown looks like a fairly ordinary dress with a slight v-neck. It's pretty but not necessarily wow-ing us as is.

Then we see the side, and Jennifer looks like the fashion icon/movie star that she is.

It's very close to almost revealing it all, if she were to move the wrong way or if there was a small breeze. But this isn't Jen's first premiere, so we're guessing she taped up to avoid any slips.

The chains on both sides of the gown, while practical, are also the most interesting detail. Her jewelry matches perfectly, really tying the look together fully.

The back shows off just how flowy the skirt is—while she may be busy, y'know, signing autographs, posing for photos, and being a professional, a few twirls on the carpet would be a great time.

We still have at least two premieres to go—Paris and L.A.—which means we still have two JLaw outfits to look forward. Stay tuned.
