How many Grammys does it take to get to the center of an English pub? Probably zero, but Sam Smith and Alicia Keys were all prepped to find out, what with the bazillion trophies they've each earned, when they hit the bars to clink some cheers and down some beers together.
Your new squad, ladies and gentlemen.
Do we smell a soulful collaboration cooking up over there or what?!
Meanwhile, Sam was in an ear-to-ear mood today, not just because of this amazing little visit, but also because earlier in the day he received a physical copy of his "Drowning Shadows" edition of his album In the Lonely Hour. He was super amped about it because, he wrote, "Nothing beats this feeling. Physically holding something I've created."
And also because he watched "Twilight" on TV and that's exactly the kind of thing you do when you're kicking up heels for a bit and enjoying a well-deserved break from adulting -- a.k.a. taking a hiatus.
