12 Things You Need To Know About Ariana Grande’s ‘Focus’

It's almost here!

After months of waiting and countless teasers, we're finally going to get the chance to turn our complete "focus" on Ariana Grande.

The singer's set to not only drop her first single, "Focus," off her upcoming album, Moonlight, on Friday, October 30, but she'll be releasing the music video as well.

This all goes down at midnight, so Arianators need to be fully prepared for what's to come. To pitch in, we've pulled together the 12 things you need to know about Ari's new single and video.

  1. It's been finished for a while.

Ari completed the song way back on May 5 and has been "so patient" while waiting to release it to her fans.

  2. "Focus" has a strong message.

Ariana isn't singing about focusing on her face or her clothes, but "I literally mean focus on me. Focus on what I'm all about and what I believe in," she said in a teaser.

  3. She brought in a hitmaker.

Ari teamed up with Savan Kotecha -- he's worked on The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face," Ellie Goulding's "On My Mind" and One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" -- to help craft her next single.

  4. Her cover art is Platinum.

Ariana's single cover art was shot by celebrity videographer Alfredo Flores, and had her ditching her long brunette locks for a drastic blonde look.

  5. There will be horns!

Ari broke out the big sounds for this one.

  6. She's hoping that you react.

At least that's what her lyrics suggest.

  7. There will be hair flips.

    In tunnels.

  8. Hair twirls.
  9. And shoulder rolls.
  10. There's even a dance sequence with her girls.

    So fierce.

  11. That will be big.
  12. And may or may not look like this.

    Work it, Frankie Grande!
