If you haven't seen Spike Lee's 2013 "Oldboy" remake, you might not recognize Pom Klementieff right away.
But you -- and everyone else -- are about to know her very, very well. The French-Canadian actress (whose parents are Korean and French-Russian, BTW) just nabbed a secret role in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" sequel, and already the speculative anticipation is starting to swell.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed Klementieff's attachment to the pic, which happened after a reportedly wide search for an Asian actress to fill a mystery role and join the returning cast -- which includes Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel and Dave Bautista -- as well as writer-director James Gunn.
And while Klementieff's role in the sequel has not yet been announced, the comic-loving public consensus seems to be that she might become Mantis, a half-Vietnamese character from the series.

Speaking of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Pom Klementieff was just cast for a “key” role. If I had to guess, she will be playing Mantis.

The good news for everyone is that even if you're not familiar with Klementieff's work yet, her Instagram feed is just brimming with great videos that show off her formidable talents and fun personality.
-
Like knitting with birds on her head.
THIS takes practice, guys.
-
And dramatic dub-smashing skills.
Good stuff.
-
Plus, she can apparently contort herself to painful-to-even-watch levels.
OW. But also? Useful.
-
Oh, and there's also this in-motion selfie by the Arc De Triomphe. NBD.
She's clearly a brave-slash-slightly-cray woman. (Maybe she knows Norman Reedus.)
-
Finally, let's not overlook this live-action Pac-Man interpretation she came up with.
Important.
Needless to say, we're intrigued. Go on...
"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
