Adele’s ‘Hello’ Is Emotional, Heartbreaking And Will Leave You Drowning In Tears

It's just so good.

After years and years, Adele has released her brand-new single, "Hello," and it was well worth the wait.

The singer dropped the first track off her upcoming Nov. 20 album, 25, along with the video on Friday (Oct. 23) and delivered a highly emotional ballad that you may want to listen to with a box of tissues close by.

While some may have worried when Adele said she was ditching breakup songs for "make-up songs", you can breathe a sigh of relief because "Hello" is still just as emotional.

"Hello from the other side / I must've called a thousand times to tell you / I'm sorry, for everything that I've done," she sings.

The track was produced by Greg Kurstin, and it starts with just a smooth, slow piano and drum beat before exploding as Adele's powerful vocals build. But it's the lyrics that are really haunting -- you feel Adele's pain in every word.

The British singer also dropped the video for the song, which finds her traveling back to the house she shared with her ex (played by singer and "90210" actor Mack Wilds), where she tries tirelessly to get in touch with him to apologize "for everything that I did." But just like she sings on the song, he doesn't respond.

Adele spoke out about the track -- and her upcoming album -- with Apple Music's Beats 1's Zane Lowe Friday, saying that this may be the last time she titles an album with her age.

"I think this will be my last age one," she said of 25, which follows 2011's 21 and 2008's 19. "I'm sure I'm wrong with this, but I feel like there's been a massive change in me in the last couple of years. Having become a parent, and me and all my friends suddenly living grown-up lives and having responsibilities we haven't had before."

In her time away from the spotlight, Adele had her 2 year-old son, Angelo, and feels at this point in her life "not that much is going to change profoundly in me."

"I think the next one is probably going to be called Adele: The Real Me," she joked, before adding, "I'm just kidding."
