“It's a beautiful thing, what she's doing,” the rapper told The NY Daily News. "I feel like every woman should do that. I feel like once somebody's going through a critical condition, I feel like people should step up to the plate to help because once upon a time they had a real relationship when they was married, they still married.”
They are, in fact, still married. The two wed in 2009 and Khloé filed for divorce in 2013. Khloé and French reportedly dated at some point during the Odom/Kardashian separation.
On Oct. 13, Lamar was rushed to a hospital after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. The former NBA player and 2011 Sixth Man Of the Year was in a coma for four days. He awoke from his coma last week and is now in a Los Angeles hospital. Khloé has reportedly been by his side since his Nevada hospitalization.
Today, Khloé also broke her silence on the situation with a statement on her website. "The past week has been incredibly difficult," Khloé said. "I am so thankful to family, friends, and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar."
