Our Exclusive 'Arrow' Clip Offers The Worst Dad Advice Of All Time

Malcolm and Thea are back together in this clip from "Restoration."

Thea Queen (Willa Holland) is out of control. Nearly killed, then brought back to life on last season's "Arrow" via the mystical Lazarus Pit, she's spent most of the nascent season three going apes--t on a series of bad guys... And then her brother, Oliver (Stephen Amell).

There's only one place she's going to get answers to what's wrong with her, though, and that's back at the home of the Lazarus Pit, Nanda Parbat. It's also the home of her father, the usually pretty evil Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), who has been otherwise absent this season.

Not anymore... Malcolm (Ra's al Ghul if you're nasty) is back in a big way this week, as Thea attempts to find answers to what's wrong with her, and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is trying to bring her sister Sara (Caity Lotz) back to life before she runs out of town to join spin-off "DC Legends of Tomorrow."

And in this exclusive clip from tonight's episode, "Restoration," we get to see how much Malcolm has changed (or not), as he gives the worst dad advice of all time.

You can check out what happens next tonight at 8 p.m. on The CW, and in the meantime let's all applaud Malcolm for trying -- and wonder just who, or what, is the Sage.
