The reality star took to her website thanking not only the Las Vegas hospital that treated Lamar, but all of her family and friends for their support.
"The past week has been incredibly difficult," Khloé wrote on her website. "I am so thankful to family, friends, and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar. I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made. You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!!"
Khloé, who is still legally married to Lamar, has remained by his side and was photographed exiting the hospital as he was discharged from Las Vegas and transported via helicopter to a Los Angeles facility.
While Lamar has made great strides in his recovery, according to E! News he is now "speaking in full sentences and can swallow and eat food on his own," he still has a long way to go and could be faced with some more medical issues.
According to TMZ, the former NBA basketball player's kidney's are failing and he may need a transplant.
