On Friday (Oct. 16), Demi Lovato released her new album, Confident, and—NBD!!!!!!!—announced she had been signed to Wilhelmina Models. Just spitballing here, but, um, maybe Wilhelmina saw how well she pulled off denim on denim and decided they needed to sign her immediately? I wouldn't be surprised.
In a press release, Wilhelmenia CEO, Alex Vaickus, said, "We are so thrilled to represent such a sophisticated, confident and talented woman, as Demi. She has proved that she is an accomplished singer and actress, and we look forward to seeing her success within the modeling realm." Same, dude. Same.
It's great news for us because, well, we'll be seeing a lot more of Demi. The agency "will aim to continue raising Demi’s already sophisticated profile by securing modeling and endorsement deals in the fashion and beauty arenas, as well as seeking out editorial opportunities." Editorial opportunities?!? Yes, please.
