Soulja Boy Explains The Suicidal Message That Scared His Fans

Soulja Boy apologizes and says he's 'blessed.'

A Soulja Boy Snapchat post scared fans and worried many who believed the rapper was suicidal.

"I'm going to die soon," he said in a Snap, according to HipHopDX. "I enjoyed my life."

Yesterday, Soulja took to Instagram to explain the message a little more with this caption:

Just Wanna say Sorry to My Family Friends & Supporters for my comment Yesterday. I was just Stressed out going thru Some things & had A lot on my mind. This Life This Fame is overwhelming at times and people tend to Forget we have Feelings Worries & Problems just Like Everyone else. But Im Good Have no Worries, Im Blessed & going to continue to Striving For Greatness

It's hard to know exactly what Soulja meant by the message he originally posted, but many were concerned that the rapper was talking about suicide.

If that was the case -- he's mentioned stress in recent posts, too -- we hope that Soulja Boy's feeling better or at least getting some help. He certainly isn't the first star to share similar feelings.

This year alone, Kendrick Lamar, MGK, KXNG Crooked and Lil Mama were among the many artists to speak openly about their battles with depression, stress and/or suicidal thoughts.
