'Katy Perry Pop': First Look At Her App

We see you there, Left Shark.

Katy Perry is officially getting in on the celebrity app game, and it looks like she's bringing her green hair, Left Shark and a little something from her iconic album covers along for the ride.

The pop star announced the app, called "Katy Perry Pop," on Wednesday (Oct. 14) with a sneak peek at the animated goods to come.

"Introducing the cartoon version of me in my new game #KatyPerryPop!" she wrote to introduce her colorful digital offering.

Really, Katy could've chosen just about any tress color for her cartoon form because she's completed her human hair rainbow by now. But we dig the slime green look because (1) ROAR, (2) it was her favorite hue, and (3) it kinda fits with the fact that she's been recording some jingle bells lately, just in time for the holidays.

Meanwhile, the pink clouds are a nice homage to Perry's Teenage Dream album cover, while the rainbows and geometrical shapes seem to nod to Prism.

Most importantly, that outfit is a direct homage to one of her more memorable Prism World Tour costumes, seen here:

"We’ve been working on this game for over a year now," Katy added. "I’ve created the most fun, colorful world that helps guide your musical dreams. App coming soon!"

"Katy Perry Pop" is expected to debut later this year on Apple and Android devices, and will include Perry's voice and (as the preview shows) her physical likeness.
