Update (10/14/15 12:45 p.m. ET) - E! Online reports that Lamar Odom has overdosed on drugs. He is currently unconscious and on a ventilator. A source close to E! says he suffered from a "loss of oxygen but also possible stroke."
Former NBA player Lamar Odom is reportedly “fighting for his life” after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel.
TMZ reports the 35-year-old arrived at Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nev., on Saturday and was found unconscious in his room on Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 13). An ambulance reportedly took him to a local hospital, where he was intubated, and he has since been airlifted to a Las Vegas hospital for further treatment.
As an NBA player, Odom was named the league's Sixth Man of the Year in 2011, and won back-to-back championship titles in 2009 and 2010 with the Los Angeles Lakers.
His friends and fellow athletes offered their thoughts and prayers for him on Twitter as news of his critical condition spread on Tuesday night.
