Congratulations are in order because Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have announced they're expecting a baby -- and they did it in the most heartwarming way.

The couple, who were married two years ago in Italy, shared a photo of themselves with huge smiles on their faces, as Legend places his hand on his wife's growing-but-still-not-visible bump. They also poignantly shared a little insight into their tough journey to this point.

"We're pregnant!" the "All of Me" singer-songwriter captioned the above snap on Monday night (Oct. 12).

On Instagram, Teigen posted the same image but revealed they'd been struggling to conceive for some time now, a process that can be difficult and discouraging to endure, though she didn't give any specifics.

"John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant :)," she wrote. "As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn't been easy, but we kept trying because we can't wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We're so excited that it's finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching! Xx" she wrote.

All we know is we cannot wait to see what crazy craving concoctions she comes up with on Instagram. And you just KNOW John's tribute song to his little one will be beyond amazing.
