Not that there's anything wrong with falling leaves and pumpkin spice lattes, but right about now, "Sherlock" fans have to be wishing it was Christmas already.
A new trailer for the BBC series' Christmas special, which finds Holmes and Watson transported back in time to turn-of-the-century London, has dropped, and it's everything an old-school Sherlock Holmes story should be.
We've got cobblestone streets and oily gaslights; frightened ladies in high-necked dresses; Watson with a pistol and a phenomenal mustache; an ominous period-appropriate soundtrack; and of course, Benedict Cumberbatch as Holmes.
The Christmas special promises to be a creepier take on the BBC's "Sherlock," and the first peek is heavy on Victorian chill -- which is good, because we've officially lost ours.
Fans will get their long-awaited return to 221B Baker Street in December. In the meantime, you can watch the full trailer below.
