Demi Lovato’s Vocals Have Reached New Heights On Her Emotional ‘Stone Cold’ Track

Get the tissues ready.

Bow down to Demi Lovato and her amazing vocals, because she just gave her everything on her ballad, "Stone Cold."

The third song Demi has released in full off her upcoming album, Confident, is a highly emotional gut-wrenching track that will have you feeling all the feels.

Demi uploaded the live studio version of the song, which showcases not only her powerful voice, but just how much emotion she pours into her songs.

The song is all about Demi watching her former boyfriend be with someone else, and while she's trying to look happy on the outside, the pain is almost too much for her to bear.

"Stone cold, baby/ God knows I tried to feel/ Happy for you/ Know that I am, even if I/ Can't understand, I'll take the pain/ Give me the truth, me and my heart/ We'll make it through/ If happy is her, I'm happy for you," she sings on the song.

Demi has high hopes for this song, placing her bets that the standout track will be the one that ultimately catches the Grammy committee's attention, since winning a Grammy is a "huge goal" for the singer.

“I watched the Grammy nominations last year and I was like, ’I want to be there so bad.’ It really gave me that kick in the ass to make music that was worthy of it. This is a song that I feel like is worthy of notification," she told Complex magazine. "Everything in my entire singing career—all of the guitar lessons, all of the voice lessons, all of the songs that I wrote when I was 8 years old, when I was 15, writing six songs a night, all of the touring—would be worth it. That’s what it means to me. It’s literally everything.”
