Pretty hurts, unless you're Beyoncé.
Beyoncé's "Mrs. Carter Show World Tour" has been over for almost two weeks, and our level of sadness is so high, it can only be measured with one of Homeland Security's color-coding systems. (Today's "Sad Level" is at an orange, FYI.)
But, it makes us feel a little better to see the "Partition" singer enjoying a much-deserved beach break in this waterfront selfie. OK, and it also makes us feel a little jealous, too. (Today's "Sad Level" downgraded to green -- for envy.)
We're mostly digging this photo of Bey in all her naturally curly glory, though, because it's so REAL-LIFE. No camera flashes, no touch-ups, no fans -- all she needed to nail the most perfect selfie ever were some luscious locks of hair and some actual, IRL wind.
Anyway, while there is no official caption attached to the photo, we have a feeling it would have said something like: "THIS is how you selfie. #IWokeUpLikeThis #Flawless #PoresWho #SorryFuture #SorryKanye #IWon #TheEnd (And just like that, today's "Sad Level" has dropped all the way down to a safe and stable Blue -- as in Ivy.)
