Karmin turn the beat around with their disco-inspired "I Want It All" music video.
We may have over a month to wait for Karmin's sophomore album, Pulses, to drop on Mar. 25, but at least the duo's video for "I Want It All" offers enough glittery, '70s-disco-domination eye candy to totally tide us over until then.
While musical/romantic partners Amy and Nick's "Acapella" video focused more on a modern, hip-hop aesthetic (and introduced us to a blonde Amy! HAY, GIRL!), "I Want It All" goes for the gold in a vintage, Studio 54-throwback style that flawlessly correlates with the tune's funky vibe. (Hey, we guessed as much after seeing the lyric video.)
Seriously, there is SO MUCH sparkly, disco-ball realness and jiving beats in this clip that you will finger-point boogie and hip-gyrate yourself all "Saturday Night Fever"-like into total exhaustion.
(Also, DOES THIS MEAN THERE ARE DISCO BALLS TO DANCE UNDER ON THEIR TOUR? Pleeeeeease!)
The duo's video not only reminds us that we just don't get enough sequined wall-caressing, glowing microphones, and roller skating in our lives. It also makes a very historically significant statement: DISCO IS NOT DEAD. IT WILL NEVER DIE. Deal with it.
