Oh, NBD! Just two ladies slaying the vocal game together.
In case you hadn't noticed, when we stan, we stan HARD and PUBLICLY! Take Tori Kelly, for example. We've been buzzing about Tori since way back in 2012 (#hairflip), and now she's been inducted into MTV's Artist To Watch Class of 2014! COOL POINTS.
Last week, Tori joined Fifth Harmony, Jake Miller, Rixton, and Echosmith onstage at Los Angeles' House Of Blues Sunset for a special "Artist To Watch Live" concert, and to put it bluntly? Tori straight-up slayed all that was in her sights.
After performing a masterful live version of "Dear No One," she whipped out our personal favorite song off her Foreword EP, the delicate and enchanting "Paper Hearts." It's almost as if she could read our thoughts! (HAY, GIRL.)
But then, like a gift from the female pop goddesses, Tori surprised everyone by bringing her pal Ariana Grande onstage for a full-on duet of Ariana's latest single, "Right There." But, what did they do without Big Sean there to cover his rapped verse in the middle? Umm, don't worry. Tori had it more than under control.
In sum? It was basically an out of control, perfectly perfect vocal situation that totally had us sweating with joy. (TMI, but #SorryNotSorry.) Thanks, ladies!
