This collab is better than bad -- it's good!
According to the New York Daily News, the mastermind behind one of the nineties' most iconic cartoons will be providing artwork for the "Adore You" crooner's upcoming "Bangerz Tour," which kicks off on Feb. 14 in Vancouver. Hopefully, this means Smilers will get some Nicktoons-worthy animated interstitials between songs, or at least cross-branded merch. (Personally, we'll take anything, thanks. #Dignity)
Who knows, maybe we'll even get some kind of "We Can't Stop"-meets-"Happy Happy Joy Joy" mashup? Miley belting "FU" as an epic battle between Powdered Toast Man and Amazon Ashley rages in the background? Ren calling Cheyne Thomas an "EEEEEDIOT"? (JK, Biew-Biew!) The possibilities are ENDLESS, you sick little monkeys.
Now, just in case you're having trouble processing this collision of faves on faves on faves on faves, here are a few reasons why the grotesquely animated, no-holds-barred menagerie of "The Ren & Stimpy Show" is the perfect fit for Miley's forthcoming tour.
Not to resurrect the "T" word in 2014, but Ren and Stimpy have always been major proponents of twerking.
Plus, they seem like they'd totally support Miley's "Free The Nipple" activism.
And, uh, ya think Ren and Stimpy support controversial choreography? Sh-duh!
Ack! If you need us, we'll basically be doing variations on this for the next three weeks until Miley kicks off her tour.
