Rihanna clearly spent New Year's Eve in the #NOBASICSZONE.
Isn't it a law of physics that New Year's Eve is NEVER as good as you want it to be? Unless you're Rihanna, of course, who hosted a party at Jay Z's famed 40/40 Club full of fancy black and white ensembles, beautiful friends, and glass after glass of champagne -- basically a nonstop fantasia of zero eff-giving!
The "What Now" songstress shared a LARGE collection of photos from her evening on Instagram. Along with the above shot of her toasting to the new year (and presumably the #NOBASICSZONE in general), Rihanna captioned: "Midnight."
Pour it up, pour it up!
Or, as Rihanna would say, "team werq."
This was followed by a bunch of shots of her hanging with her dinner guests, who Ri adorably described as "#childhoodbestfriends."
Hey, Melissa, we see you!
Oh, and just in case you aren't feeling sufficiently insecure about the fact that you consumed most of your NYE beverages from a flimsy plastic champagne flute likely procured from a 24-hour convenience store (Duane Reade, holla!), the rest of Rihanna's fabulous 40/40 Club photos are, well...
I WANT TO GO TO THERE.
Pink Manolo Blahniks! Partying with Cara Delevingne! No one crying in the corner because "LIFE U GUISE"! THE END! See ya never.
Too much! We can't! Ahhhh!
