Anyone else hearing angelic choruses? Not just us? K!
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the diva water -- i.e., the beaches of Richard Branson's Necker Island where Mariah Carey was caught vacationing on a 2005 episode of "Cribs" -- Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera have dropped the ultimate New Year's surprise.
As indicated by this Amazon listing that popped up online overnight, the once-dueling divas will release their "Do What U Want" remix from "The Voice" on Jan. 1 -- aka TOMORROW.
EVERYONE FREAK OUT.
NOW, CALM DOWN.
Good. Anyway, do you even know what this means?!?! Like, 2014 is already the greatest year in recorded human history, and it hasn't even begun yet. CALLING IT NOW.
Sorry, 2007, the year Britney Spears released Blackout. Paging 1225, when Jay Z drafted the Magna Carta into English law? YOU'RE OUTTA HERE! And 1983, the year some guy (Jesus?) invented Hot Pockets. You sit your ass down, and shut the hell up, YEAR.
For tomorrow, once we all
finally rise from our massive hangovers at 3:30 p.m. wake up promptly at 7:00 a.m. to begin the year with an invigorating jog, two of our pop diva faves will release the duet to end all duets. And, you better believe that we'll drink to that.
