#tbt: Remember When Lady Gaga Rode A Christmas Tree Back In 2011, And DIDN'T Sing 'Christmas Tree'?! (PHOTO)

Throwback Thursday! Remember when Lady Gaga rode those Christmas trees like a disco stick at Jingle Ball in 2011?

Well, light Gaga up and put her on top!

Time for another round of Throwback Thursday! Check out this photo of Lady Gaga performing "The Edge Of Glory" at Z100's Jingle Ball in 2011! OK, so we're only warping back two years. So what? Just think of how long that is in cat years, and you'll stop being so grumpy. Unless you're Grumpy Cat. ONLY EXCEPTION.

Anyway, it's so fun to rewind back to the "Do What U Want" singer's different looks over the years, especially this tough, biker-chic Born This Way-era getup. We have but one grievance to air, however. How does Lady Gaga perform at a holiday-themed event surrounded by evergreens and NOT whip out her own X-mas standard, "Christmas Tree"?!?!

Sure, the track may not be at the same level as Mariah Carey's seminal "All I Want For Christmas Is You," or even Ali Lohan's iconic "Lohan Holiday." But, we'll be damned if we don't hear "Light me up put me on top, let's/ Fa la la la la la la la la" every time we see a low-budget mall Santa this time of year. What's that? We're not going to unpack that? OK, Merry Christmas!
