Lana Del Rey's "Tropico" is all drama (and a few things we don't understand).
Lana Del Rey is a sneaky little bugger! First, she unveiled a super-short, mysterious 13-second teaser for her upcoming project, "Tropico." And now, even though she's unleashed the full, minute-long "Tropico" trailer, we still don't have the faintest idea what's going on. Except, of course, for drama, mystery, and sad makeouts with model Shaun Ross. But any sign of real-life activities? Can't help you there!
Watch Lana Del Rey's "Tropico" trailer after the jump.
Directed by Anthony Mandler, "Tropico" appears to be the tale of two lovers who are faced with some sort of life-threatening opposition. (It's unclear if this "life-threatening opposition" has anything to do with Lana's tendency to rock bold teardrop tattoos or dance and smoke too much.)
In between partying and promising each other that "it's not always gonna be this way," Lana and Shaun do things like share kisses, canoodle on rooftops, and blow bubbles on park benches. (G'awww, #cute.) Oh, but it looks like Lana's also a stripper and Shaun's some kind of gangster. Guess that could be problematic for a relationship.
So, what does all of this mean? NOT A CLUE. But are we still excited to watch Lana's entire "Tropico" adventure when its released on Dec. 5? Is that even a real question? Duh.
