The Backstreet Boys’ ‘Show ‘Em (What You’re Made Of) Video: A Noir Fantasia Of Boy Band Facial Expressions

The Backstreet Boys are emotional and VERY SHIRTLESS in their new video.

Truth time: We’ve been dying for the Backstreet Boys’ “Show ’Em (What You’re Made Of)” video to drop. Why? Well, for one thing, any new BSB video means it’s literally a perfect day. Also, since Kevin and AJ cowrote the song for their kids, we hoped a few mini-BSB tots would make cameos in the video!

Well, the official “Show ’Em (What You’re Made Of)” video finally dropped today, and, sadly, those BSB kids are nowhere to be found. But it’s not like we’re mad — instead of showing kids, the boys opted to take off their shirts and make a bunch of pained, emotive faces! Plus the occasional diva hand!!! It’s like, WE’LL TAKE IT!

AJ gazes off into the distance with a slight tear in his eye.

Watch the Backstreet Boys’ “Show ’Em (What You’re Made Of)” video, and check out their most emotional moments from the video after the jump.

A cut from the boys’ latest album, In A World Like This, “Show ’Em (What You’re Made Of)” is a moving, expertly produced power-pop ballad with with an equally inspirational video. (If, of course, you find inspiration in Nick, AJ, Brian, Kevin, and Howie’s hard, shirtless bods and their super emotive faces feeling ALL the feelings.)

Examples? Blondie Nick Carter felt so inspired by his band’s new song, that his body involuntarily spun itself into an eyes-closed fist pump and reinterpreted diva hand. Thankfully, this INTENSELY emotional moment was captured on film.

Loving that tank top, Nick!

And Brian? Sometimes being a toned, shirtless guy in your 30s elicits massive screams and yells. Or, maybe this just is the face he makes when he’s pumping iron at the gym?! Either way, WE’RE FEELING THINGS!

Let’s play “Count The Packs,” shall we?

As for Kevin: Sometimes no expression is the most powerful expression of all.

That goatee shape is flawless, babe.

And finally, for sweet, kindhearted Howie? It’s all about love and acceptance, as seen here in this stunning image of him welcoming your ready body into his toned, muscular arms.

And there you have it, folks! An inspirational ballad with a side of emotions and abs. Chew on that, *NSYNC!
