Four pop stars, or a scene reenactment from "The Craft"?
A BUNCH of important things happened at last night's 2013 MTV EMA! For example, ALL OF THESE life-affirming things, Katy Perry and Ariana Grande taking cat selfies together, and Rita Ora, Katy Perry, and an intensely tan Ellie Goulding full-on channeling "The Craft" backstage. (Oh, and Rita's IRL man, Calvin Harris, was there too, probably either looking on in fear or awe.)
In case you're unfamiliar, we'll just remind you that "The Craft" is a 1996 cult film (pun intended) featuring four devious, gorgeous, black-dress-loving high school girls who form a witchcraft coven.
Light as a feather, stiff as a board...
Now, obviously we're not insinuating that Rita, Katy, and Ellie are, you know, profesh witches. In fact, how Katy Perry could find the time to procure a cauldron and whip up a nasty spell in between demolishing "Unconditionally" performances is beyond us!
All we're saying is that IF this black-dress-loving trio ever wanted to pursue a side hustle in all things witchy, they already have the outfits for it!
Oh, and we know what you're thinking: "But 'The Craft' had four witches!!!" Yep, it did, which leaves room for one more. And since I personally only wear #AllBlackEverything, I would like to officially nominate myself for the position of fourth witch. Get at me, ladies!
