We learned many, many important life lessons from Demi Lovato's new video.
First thing's first: [said in a Seinfeld voice] What's the deal with pop starlets filming videos in old, abandoned, dust-covered mansions? (See: Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger's "Let Me Go" video.) Did Demi Lovato film her "Let It Go" video in the exact same location as Chavril? (Whose song has a very similar title? #Synchronicity) Was she hiding in the attic? Was she the ghost in the attic?
Now that we got that rant out of the way, let's focus on Demi's just-released "Let It Go" video which is a.) intercut with uplifting scenes from Disney's forthcoming "Frozen" movie, b.) a visual delight with Demi singing her song in a cool Gothic-inspired gown, and c.) full of important life lessons. I mean, of COURSE it is! It's part of a Disney movie! So, without any further ado, let's discuss everything we've learned from Demi's "Let It Go" video.
1.) Always be yourself: People who aren't tend to sit alone in the dark listening to R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts" on repeat.
2.) Be yourself even MORE: ...If that means having the ability to build ice castles in the sky.
3.) Always bring a sweater: Especially when roaming through abandoned mansions.

4.) Remember to pay the electricity bill: You'll be really mad at yourself if you don't! (Not to mention cold.)
5.) Learn to let things go: That glove is a metaphor.
6.) Invest in piano lessons: Not only will you be a well-rounded individual, but you'll be the #LifeOfEveryParty!
7.) Express yourself: Sometimes #feelings are more important than properly folding/hanging/putting away your linens.
8.) Get some fresh air: Let the sun shine in! Carpe diem! Vitamin D! Put down the iPhone! LET IT GO!
