Star Spotting: Selena Gomez Pretty-Cried Because She Couldn't See Her Brooklyn Selenators! (PHOTOS)

Selena Gomez cries when she can't see her fans!

Do NOT make Selena Gomez cry! We can't take it!

Do NOT wrong Selena Gomez, y'all. No, it's not because she'll kick your f***ing ass, although we're not saying she couldn't. She'll do something MUCH worse: bawl her eyes out and make you feel REALLY bad about whatever it is you did to hurt her feelings! That's 10 times worse than a right hook, if you ask us.

A perfect example? The above photo of the "Slow Down" singer pretty-crying (as in, literally the polar opposite of the average mortal's ugly-cry) upon getting word that she couldn't go out to meet her fans after her Stars Dance Tour stop in Brooklyn! But read on! This story has a happy ending -- WE SWEAR!

Check out more photos of Selena's tear-filled New York adventure after the jump.

So, here's what went down. During Sel's performance of her ballad "Love Will Remember," she was overtaken by tears. Naturally, the universe suspected that Sel was crying because of the song's rumored inspiration, Justin Bieber. But after the show, Selena hopped right on to Instagram to explain the cry-fest:

"Never ended such a beautiful show in tears because they wouldn't allow me to Instagram tonight. Completely heart broken and pissed. Thank you SO much Brooklyn. Ill be stoping outside Letterman tomorrow to make it up if you can make it. I love you guys more than you know. Promise."

In case you're wondering why this is such a big deal for Selena, she's made an effort to kick it with her fans on nearly every single one of her Stars Dance tour stops. (See LisbonMilan, Antwerp, and Buffalo.)

Selena keeps her promise and greets fans outside Letterman

Selena Gomez makes good on her promise to greet fans outside the "Late Show With David Letterman."

But as soon as Slay-ena gets knocked down, she gets right back up! As you can see in the above photo, the "Come & Get It" singer kept her promise to meet up with her New York-area Selenators after "Letterman." Because, unlike her midriff, Selena Gomez ALWAYS has her fans covered. #IsThisThingOn
