Listen to TLC's first single in nine years, "Meant To Be."
After what feels like months of non-stop TLC teases -- the guest feature on J. Cole's "Crooked Smile," July's Mixtape Festival reunion with Lil Mama, the Lady Gaga-penned "Posh Life" demo, the hype surrounding VH1's upcoming "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story" biopic -- the iconic girl group has finally released a brand-new track that's all their own: "Meant To Be," written by Ne-Yo.
The low-key anthem will be included on the band's forthcoming greatest hits disc, 20 (out Oct. 15), one of our must-hear fall albums. It's a powerful, celebratory ode to friendship, so grab your BFFAEs and break out the white wine and yearbooks, 'cause it's about to get nostalgic up in here.

In the first verse, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins sings: "Those silly reasons we would fight/ No matter who was wrong or right/ We were always there/ Sharing this love, sharing this life." We love that even though the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes obviously won't directly contribute to any of the group's new material, she's incredibly present in surviving members T-Boz and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas' lyrics.
We've still got another six days to go until 20 hits stores, and another 12 to go until VH1's "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story" starring Lil Mama premieres on Oct. 21, but at least we've got "Meant To Be," the latest trailer for the biopic, and our full arm sleeve tattoo of the lyrics to "Waterfalls" to keep us company until then.
