Here's the story... of a lovely lady...
As president of both my high school and college a cappella groups (#humble), I'd like to think that I know a thing or two about holding harmonies.
That in mind, I've got to formally commend Miley Cyrus, The Roots, and Jimmy Fallon for not only being the most attractive a cappella group this side of ICCA, but for also doing a masterful job of nailing their NINE-part harmonies in an a cappella cover of Miley's "We Can't Stop"!
Watch Miley Cyrus, The Roots, and Jimmy Fallon perform an a cappella version of "We Can't Stop" after the jump.
As the guest on last night's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," Miley spent her full-hour slot performing "Wrecking Ball," chatting with Jimmy about the just-released Bangerz and discussing how twerking's not her only talent. And she sang an epic a cappella rendition of "We Can't Stop" with Jimmy and The Roots.
Filmed using colorful, "Brady Bunch"-style grids, Miley, placed in the dead-center block, took the song's lead vocal line (P.S. diggin' that country twang you got goin' on there, Miles!), while Jimmy and The Roots clan sang causal "be-bops," "jun-juns," and "eeeh-ohs" to fill out the song.
And yes, I do know that's precisely what they sang because, again, I've got eight years of a cappella under my belt.
